Euonymus alatus is a shrub of medium size, deciduous, very decorative in the fall. The evonimi produced in spring small flowers greenish or purple, which is followed by small dark berries or pink. In the autumn, the shrubs are pruned by removing dead branches or ruined by the weather, and are shortened by about a quarter of the branches of shrubs, hedge, so as to keep them more compact.
