CATALPA BIGNONIOIDES BUNGEI AUREA - Nursery plants and flowers, construction and maintenance of parks and gardens, nursery services, Pistoia, Tuscany

The catalpa bungei develops a short stocky trunk, the white bark, which widens into a rounded crown, highly branched and dense and the foliage is light green in color, frail, slightly leathery, oval, elongated and pointed; reached fairly quickly 8-10 meters in height. During the spring months the Catalpa trees produce large trumpet-shaped flowers, pinkish, in clusters, which follow long pods containing large dark seeds. These plants are easy to grow and, in addition to the effect mosquito, shall also, during the summer months, a good portion of cool shade, and are therefore recommended as individual specimens in gardens content.
