The cherry (Prunus avium), also called wild cherry tree is a tree belonging to the family Rosaceae,
It is a deciduous tree grows from 15 to 20 m tall, with a trunk that reaches a diameter of 10-15 m. Young trees show strong apical dominance with a straight trunk and symmetrical conical crown. The leaves are alternate, simple ovoid, acute, glabrous, of a pale green or bright at the top.
The white flowers stalks and fruit is a fleshy drupe (cherry) to 1-2 cm in diameter (larger in some cultivated selections), bright red to a dark purple when mature in mid-summer.

Prunus laurocerasus (common name Cherry laurel) is an evergreen shrub of the genus Prunus belonging to the family Rosaceae.
Shrub / tree of medium height, planted in spacious places is growing rapidly. The leaves are dark green, much more clear and bright when young, thick (1-1.5 mm) and leathery, oblong, and rounded towards the apex, slightly serrated towards the outside.
It blooms between April / June, the flowers are white, hermaphrodite, arranged in racemes, fragrant smell, but acid.
Fruits in late summer / early autumn, the fruits are drupes red / purple when unripe, and bluish black once they reach maturity.
