Genus of over 80 species of small trees and evergreen shrubs, rustic, originating in India, China and Japan. The foliage is dark green, glossy, slightly cuoioso; during the cold months of the year produce many flowers are quite large and divided into several groups depending on the shape (single, semi-double to anemone, a peony, double and formal double irregular).
The most widely cultivated Camellia japonica, which blooms from January through early spring, along with Camellia sasanqua.


Camellia Sasanqua

Shrub or small evergreen tree, dense, erect to rapid growth. Small green leaves lanceolate. Unlike the Camellia japonica grows well in a sunny position. Flowering showy and fragrant that lasts from November to March.
