LONICERA(CAPRIFOLIACEAE ) CAPRIFOGLIO
The common honeysuckle (Lonicera caprifolium) is a woody shrub of medium size by fragrant flowers colored in white and red in the family Caprifoliaceae. The stems are climbing and in the early stages of development are very branching. The ramosità almost cespitosa is given by the presence of multiple gems, soprannumerali in series and stacked in the axillary areas of the drum.
The leaves are simple with entire margin without stipules are deciduous (they are not persistent over the winter) and along the stem are arranged in an opposite way. The lamina is consistent without being tough and the upper part is light green almost brilliant, while the bottom is darker with shades of sea-
